Fantastic ambience and food for a special occasion. I have been there for a Valentine's Day meal and it was perfect...Scallops, pigeon breast, beautiful cooked fish and yummy creme brulee... Boo hoo!! It's closed but an equally nice enough place is Coco's (owned by the same people)

The Mole Inn in Toot Baldon

Michelin star gastro pub. Great place for a top quality sunday lunch. A bit of a drive out of Oxford but well worth it. Nice outside seating area and really lovely for a special occasion and even family evening out.

Bangkok House

The Bangkok House is one of the best Thai restaurants in Oxford with great service and lovely feel about it and located centrally..

Qumins

Stylish and fine Indian cuisine. Great for takeaways too. Located in St Clements. My favourite is the Lamb Sag and definately worth trying the goan fish curry.

Yo Sushi

I haven't eaten at the new one in Oxford yet but love eating at Yo Sushi in London.

Le Petit Blanc

Raymond Blanc owned, fine dining. Not met him in there yet but maybe one day.. Dress smart though if you want to sit in the dining area in the front window seats. The rest of us are relegated to the back.
